If you did not receive notification of the two-hour delay on Wednesday, January 8, your settings may not be correct in the district's autodialer system (which is called SchoolMessenger).
If you visit the district website at www.ldsd.org, there is a post under ‘Headlines’ that will walk you through the steps to check your settings. If everything appears to be correct, please contact the LD Help Desk at helpdesk@ldsd.org
Also, we will try our best to communicate bus issues as we become aware of them via the school's Facebook page and Twitter, so be sure to head over to follow these pages, too.

Parent Drop Off Procedures:
Traffic quickly backs up onto the road, blocking buses from being able to enter their unloading zone. We need to be able to keep things moving as quickly and safely as possible. Therefore, please remember:
- Adults using the parent drop-off lane, should remain in their car. Do not get out of your car at the parent drop-off door in the morning.
- If you need to get out to bring things in, please park your vehicle so that the line keeps moving.
- Pull your car as far forward as you are able so that multiple cars can unload at the same time.
- In order to maintain a safe and efficient arrival, encourage students to be "ready" (gather backpack, lunch bag, hat, gloves, etc.) and exit the car once you are able to pull in to the unloading zone. This helps keep the line moving.
Also, remember there may be additional parent drop off traffic when there are school delays or inclement weather. Please allow for additional time.
