Say "cheese!" Colleen & Co. will be at East Hanover Elementary to take school portraits. To pre-order packages visit here or complete the form sent home with your child and return it to school on picture day.
Falcon Pride Friday

The last Friday of each month will be Falcon Pride Friday! Students & Faculty are encouraged to wear blue & white to show their school spirit.
National Walk-to-School Day
Wed. October 2 at 8:30 am
Join us as we celebrate National Walk to School Day.
We will meet at Providence Mennonite Church and walk to school together!
Grandparents & Goodies
Wed., Oct. 9 AND Thurs., October 10 at 8:00 am
Grandparents (or special guests) are invited to enjoy breakfast goodies with your student(s) in the school cafeteria. Check here to see which day your student(s) should attend. We will need volunteers to help us set-up and serve. Please email Melissa Spittler if interested in helping.

Walk-a-Thon Label Contest!
Reminder that labels for Walk-a-Thon are due Wednesday! We hope you are able to fill out a few, if not all ten address labels, to help support our fundraising efforts. Your child gets a prize (a candy bar) if they fill out all 10 labels.
Plus there are prizes for the classrooms that bring in the most labels:
- Grand Classroom Prize: An after school party with games and food!
- Second Place Prize: A pizza AND ice cream party with 30 extra minutes of recess!
- Third Place Prize: An ice cream party with 30 minutes of extra minutes of recess!
Our goal for this year is to raise $15,000. 100% of the funds stay with East Hanover Elementary, supporting the students and their education. And if we reach this goal, our students can vote on a staff member to pie in the face!!

NEW THIS YEAR:
Grandparents & Goodies will take place over TWO Mornings!
Students in grades K-2: and their grandparents (or other grand guests) are invited to spend some quality time and enjoy breakfast goodies together before school in the cafeteria on Wednesday, October 9 from 8:00 - 8:45AM.
Students in grades 3-5: and their honored guests are invited for Grandparents & Goodies on Thursday, October 10 from 8:00 - 8:45AM.
If you have multiple students that span the different grades/dates, you should choose ONE MORNING that works best for your students and grandparents.
Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers to help with this event. If available for set-up, serving or clean-up, please contact Melissa Spittler. |

October 2nd is National Walk to School Day. Walk to School Day is a global event that involves communities from more than 40 countries walking to school on the same day. Join us in the Providence Mennonite Church parking lot at 8:30 a.m. State Police will provide police escort as we walk to school! Parent walkers are needed, too!
