A special thank you the parents and PTO for a wonderful teacher appreciation week. The theme was fantastic and the food was even better. We really are grateful for a very special week!

We hope that you are enjoying our annual "East Hanover Reads" book - Lemonade Wars. Remember that your student can purchase a glass of lemonade for $0.25 on the following Fridays during their lunch period.

The May Fun Run will be this coming Saturday, May 18 at the East Hanover Township Park Walking Trail. The race will start promptly at 9:00 a.m. The Fun Run is FREE for all students of East Hanover Elementary and $10.00 for all other participants (parents, siblings not attending EHE).
TIMING:
. New Registration: 8:30AM (did not send in a form)
. Pre- Registration Check In: 8:40AM (sent in a form)
. Line-Up: 8:50AM
. Race Starts: 9:00AM
All registrants MUST complete the registration form and have a parent/guardian signature to run. Pre-registration closed April 19 but you can still register race-day morning. You will need a parent/guardian to complete your registration form and stay with you until the end of the event.
PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place (boys & girls) in each grade will receive a medal. And the classroom with the most students who participate will receive an ice cream party!
RAFFLE: A raffle will be held after the race. Each East Hanover Elementary student present will be entered to win. Sorry, but non-East Hanover Elementary Students will not be eligible for the raffle prizes.

Field day is coming up on Thursday, June 6 and volunteers are needed to run each of the stations. Everything you need will be supplied. If you have your clearances and are available on from 8:45-11:30 please sign up here.
